It’s common for existing furniture to feel out of place when moving into a new home – especially if you’re going for a specific look and feel.
My clients for this project were moving into a larger home and weren’t sure how to integrate their existing furniture into the new design. They wanted to create a more contemporary, luxurious home that was also comfortable and welcoming for entertaining family and friends. Since they were working with a new home layout, they weren’t sure which furniture to remove and what they needed to buy to achieve the luxurious interior they were going for.
To begin this project, it was important to evaluate their existing furniture and the potential of each room individually. We created a full 3D floorplan of my clients’ home to help them envision the final style and feel before actually bringing the design to life.
Ultimately, we were able to use most of their existing furniture without compromising on the lavish style they desired. We also added tasteful accents and new furniture to create a cohesive, comfortable feel throughout the home.
My clients now have a comfortable, luxurious home that they’re proud to entertain friends and family in on a regular basis.
